ABOUT ME
Meet Jessica E. Ferreira
Social Worker | Trauma Therapist
Jessica E. Ferreira is a Trauma Therapist, educator, and Accredited Social Worker with deep expertise in trauma, mental health, substance use, and recovery-focused care. She brings over a decade of experience working across diverse settings, including disaster recovery, homelessness, addiction services, and complex mental health.

She is the creator of the INTOUCH Framework—Integrated Nervous System Training for Optimal Understanding, Co-Regulation & Healing—a Nervous System-Centred and Trauma-Informed Therapy & Training model designed to support both clients and professionals in moving from survival to embodied presence and connection.

Jessica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work, with advanced training in Traumatic Stress Studies. Her approach bridges the gap between knowing about trauma and being able to respond to it—moment by moment—with clarity, compassion, and nervous system awareness.

She works with individuals seeking recovery beyond symptom management, and with professionals who feel stuck—those who understand trauma intellectually, but struggle to apply that knowledge in their day to day practice.
Through nervous system education, self-compassion tools, and practical regulation strategies, Jessica helps people reconnect with their bodies, reclaim their stories, and experience change from the inside out.

Her offerings include one-on-one counselling, clinical supervision, and professional training.
